As a comic, he won Stand-Up NY's 'Funniest Gay Male' contest, The Duplex' Stars of Tomorrow Grand Price and had a long running show (The Seth Rudetsky Show) at Rose's Turn. With his comedy partner Jack Plotnick, he performed An Evening with Joyce Dewitt and Mortification Theatre at Caroline's and The HBO Workspace in L.A. Last year, he joined Varla Jean Merman and Kristine Zbornik in Holiday Hams. He's produced / hosted / music directed three benefits for The Gay/Lesbian Synagogue featuring Lillias White, Audra MacDonald, Andrea McArdle and MANY other sass-tresses.

He's performed in concert with Betty Buckley, Priscilla Lopez and Kristin Chenoweth. He conducted a Benefit for the Actors Fund/Christopher Reeve foundation (First You Dream). He's also written the opening number for six Broadway Easter Bonnet Competitions as well as the 2000 and 1998 Tony Awards (with Patti LuPone, Jennifer Holliday, and Betty Buckley). For nine years he's volunteered with Lifebeat's Hearts and Voices (bringing sassy singing to People with AIDS), and every Thursday he hosts Seth's Broadway Chatterbox, a Broadway interview show at Don't Tell Mama to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
For The Actors Fund, Seth produced, music directed and conducted the 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert of Dreamgirls, which is available on CD, as well as all star concerts of Funny Girl and Chess. His one man show, Rhapsody in Seth, had an off-Broadway run. SETH RUDETSKY graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 1988 with a degree in Piano Performance. Off-Broadway, he played piano for The Fantasticks, Forever Plaid, and Pageant. On Broadway, he's played in the pit of My Favorite Year, Les Miserables, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, An Inspector Calls, How To Succeed..., Patti LuPone Live, Ragtime, Saturday Night Fever, Grease (also asst. conductor) Victor/Victoria (also asst. conductor), and The Producers. Recently, Seth appeared on LAW AND ORDER: C.I. as Eddie Dayton and as Rudy, Erica Kane's Las Vegas choreographer, on ALL MY CHILDREN. He is a very busy DeeJay on Sirius Satellite Radio and can be heard every weekday afternoon on "The Beat 66" and every night on "Broadway's Best 77"
